A bit about me.

I'm a software engineer in Seattle, WA. I build web applications professionally and spend my free time tinkering with AI, side projects, and whatever else I can get my hands on.

What I do

I work at Land id as a software engineer, where I build frontend features in React within an Nx monorepo. The platform is a geospatial property tool used by land professionals, realtors, and outdoor enthusiasts across the country. Most of my day-to-day is React and TypeScript.

Before Land id, I interned at Amazon on the Amazon Pay team during the summer of 2023. I built a new API that is now used by millions of users across Europe.

I graduated from Montana State University in December 2024 with a B.S. in Computer Science. While I was there, I competed in hackathons (DubHacks finalist with PackPoint, plus HackHarvard and TreeHacks), shipped side projects, and picked up a range of experience across web, mobile, and backend work.

What I'm into right now

AI and tooling

I spend a lot of time learning about and applying AI to my daily workflow. From code generation to automation, I'm constantly exploring how these tools change the way software gets built.

Side projects

I built a QR code based RSVP system for my wedding, a White Elephant randomizer app for my family, and I'm currently building a website for my dad's construction company. I like solving real problems for real people.

Making things

Outside of code, I'm into rock climbing, 3D printing, woodworking, CAD, and building circuits. I like working with my hands as much as I like working in a terminal.

PackPoint

DubHacks '22 Finalist

A location-sharing app for college students built with SwiftUI, Firebase, and Mapbox. Users pin and share their favorite spots around campus.

MultiStreamers

1,100 peak concurrent users

A web app for watching multiple Twitch and YouTube streams at the same time. Built with React and Node.js. Hit 1,100 users in 30 minutes at peak.

Wedding RSVP System

Personal project

A QR code based RSVP web app where guests received personalized codes. Scanning took them directly to their RSVP page with their info pre-filled.

White Elephant App

Personal project

A Secret Santa and White Elephant randomizer for my family. It assigns people, contacts everyone with their match, and sends each person a survey about themselves.
